I think this is the first time I've finished a page on time and managed to post it. So here's my August page for the 365 Art Calendar hosted by the talented Kate Crane
Haven't even started September yet and I'm off down to Essex to see my grandchildren. My eldest starts a new school on Wednesday and it's her birthday on Sunday so it will be brilliant to see them again.
Wow, you were quick off the Mark! Love your page and the Olympic image (weren't the Olympics fabulous?!) have a great time with the grandchildren x

ReplyDeleteFabulous, Anne! Love the way you mixed up the writing on the dates with black and white inks and super idea to include the Olympian.
ReplyDeleteHow great of you to pay homage to the Olympics. I enjoyed watching them on TV but I suspect you had more fun since they were "in your neighborhood" (so to speak). It made for one fantastic calendar page.
ReplyDeleteWow, I left a comment and Blogger told me your blog couldn't be found. I'm going to try to post this to see if it goes.
ReplyDeleteFantastic page, love your way of bringing it all together!
ReplyDeleteHow clever to make an Olympics page - why didn't I think of that?? It really works and I like the colours you've chosen ...
