Over at the Sunday Stampers Challenge, the theme this week is die cuts. I had this beeswax canvas half done, added bits of ephemera and came up with this...
The die cut used is of course the new Sewing Room one, which I adore, I also altered the bobbin off the die, covered it with canvas and coloured with distress stain. The dress form is covered with TSS metal, then I painted the bodice with white acrylic, highlighted in places with Inka Gold in blue, which I also put all around the edge of the canvas. I made the little pin cushion out of material (so small you can hardly see it in the photo) and used the same material for the needle case. The little flower in the left hand corner is made from a zip. I stuck some lace across the top and fixed on some buttons.
Well another fabulous day weather wise, the sun has been out since early this morning, I've had all the windows open, the French doors, all washing out and dried, just needs ironing, ugh!!
Fabulous, so many little details and I love the zip flower. Tracy x

ReplyDeleteYes Ann, Thanks for your comments about my art journal pages. Yes I drew the girl on a piece of printer paper, coloured her in and cut her out, her dress was cut from a piece of anna griffin designer paper.
