Decided in March to do my April page for the 365 Art Journal Calendar based on April showers, but guess what, we haven't seen a drop of rain, lol. It's been such a beautiful, sunny and warm month.
So the unrolled umbrellas are there just in case and the open ones are to shade from the sun.
Hope to start on my May pages this afternoon.
Take a look here to see other brilliant pages.
This is lovely Ann. Love the closed umbrella stamp.

ReplyDeleteA lovely pretty page, glad we didn't need to use those umbrellas, love the way you have turned it around to make them sun brollies.xx
ReplyDeleteNormally you would have been spot on! They are already talking about hosepipe bans.... Love these pages, and I am sure May's will be lovely too.
ReplyDeleteLove this, although it's great that we didn't need brollies often last month. Love the dotty spotty journal spots!!

Do you not find it worrying that we haven't had lots of rain in April? It seems odd to me but this sunshine is lovely...it does make me wonder what sort of summer we will have?! Love your umbrella themed April. x
ReplyDeleteyep, same problem Ann! lol your pages have turned out really well.
ReplyDeleteLike those quirky text umbrellas. I'm sure you'll have a use later in the year.
ReplyDeleteAnn the witch crafter, uh scarey, but loving the page and the polka dot days xx
ReplyDeleteLove your happy, spotty look - so fresh and spring like. Hope we soon get some rain though, I think the ground needs it! Hugs from very cold and dry Germany, Valerie
ReplyDeleteHa ha, yes, no rain in sight for the whole month, but who would've guessed that would happen in April?! I think it has been the warmest April since 1942 or something. Your pages look fab filled in :-) x
ReplyDeleteVery clever, love all the umbrellas for the month of April! :]
ReplyDeleteGreat artwork, thank you for sharing.
I love this....and I love the lack of rain just as much!!! We had lots of overnight showers here...best of both worlds!!! You umbrellas are GORGE....wouldn't mind one of them for real!!! LOL!!! xx
ReplyDeleteGreat page, love the umbrellas! My april page was based on rain as well and then we have spent loads of time at the beach in the lovely sunny weather! Looking forward to seeing your may page x

What dry humour you have :) Love the page Ann - I'm glad we didn't have the April showers though, aren't you? x
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely adorable! Unfortunately, I can't say the same about our April - it was wet, rainy and it even snowed one day! Thanks for your visit and your lovely comment. Hugs, Terri
ReplyDeleteGreat page - after doing my autumn page thinking of fires we have now had 3 hot days of 'indian summer' - go figure :-)
ReplyDeleteHi Ann, love the colours on these pages and love that dotty paper :-) I had intended putting at least one umbrella on mine but never got round to it!
ReplyDeleteAs for mine - I'd coloured several pages in the book before deciding to use it for my 365 calendar this year and couldn't mathc up the colours on the pages that should've been April so just left them out. Anyway did manage to sort them and halfway through April decided I should use them so went back! - I said it was long and boring!
See you tomorrow - the tiffin's made, hope I don't forget it LOL
Anne xx
Ann, your welcome to some of our rain, it just never seems to stop this year! darling calendar page. lots of wonderful colors so cheerful!
ReplyDeletehugs Lynn
Fab pages Ann - think we all got caught out with the April showers theme last month - and that Stampotique missy is just the perfect finishing touch
