Ladies Who Lunch

It was our monthly Play Day last Friday and we chose a project by Helen Chilton which appeared in Craft Stamper.

This was extremely difficult to photo and doesn't show it at its best.  The stamps I've used are Poultry Party by Tweetyjill, DI in various colours, upholstery trim from Dunelm, wood courtesy of hubby.

We used lots of inks and tried different ways of applying them...

It was a lovely sunny day so we ate in the garden.  I made a lasagne, limonchello trifle and fruit salad.

Clare with her portion of the trifle!!!!

One of my granddaughters has decided that she likes this project but thought it was to store recipes in, lol, so now I've got to make her a book to keep her recipes in.

  7. Was a fabulous day! thanks for hosting! You could sew a pocket onto the back so she could put her recipes in it? Haven't finished mine, still moving the new craft room about and hit a brick wall on how to store my stamps, will do it this weekend though!
