A messy, painty day

I seem to have lost my mojo, but was determined to do a journal page today, even if it killed me, lol.  It was inspired by taking our two granddaughters to the coast the other day and the youngest, Charlotte, kept asking 'are we there yet'.  I'm sure you've all suffered from your kids saying the same to you.
I did this in my A5 Moleskin, painted the pages with gesso, painted on some acrylic paint, then used Altered Original Inks from AFTH, sprayed through various stencils, added the images which are all by Nancy Baumiller at Diviantscrap.  Finished off with doodling and made the images 'pop' with Portofino, sorry Portfolio oil pastels, which are the best oil pastels, ever.

Today is Sandy Poppins 50th birthday, Happy Birthday Sandra, hope you've had a fantastic day.

  4. Ann this is a FANTASTIC spread! I love the zingy colours! The images are brilliant and the subject so highly amusing as I suspect everyone on the planet (who has taken a child on a trip!) will smile wryly at the quote.
You had me laughing out loud at the portafino/portfolio step!
