It is actually canvas board, made 9 panels out of TSS metal in copper which have been embossed, painted with acrylic paints, then spritzed with inks, mounted onto mount board and then onto the canvas, finished off with some embellishments, including TSS hearts, faux porcelain flower, fragment charms with some 7 Gypsies paper underneath.
Here's one by one of the "Ladies" partially done but in red metal, which I think looks fantastic.
I am entering my canvas into the Sunday Stampers Challenge which this week is green, as my canvas and spritzing is in green.
What loveley canvases, great detail and I like the fact they are in small panels of metal. Both great designs and so nice to see to different colour combinations. Sounds like you had a fab play day. Have a lovely day, Tracy Evans x

Not finished mine yet but will when I have typed this. Your finished canvas looks stunning, like the way you have used the embellishments outside of the metal samplers. Anne's looks stunning too in the red can't wait to see it finished.
ReplyDeleteHope you have recovered and feeling less tired.
Pat xx
Love your canvases - was going to say I liked your green one but that red one looks great. Made me want to get my metal out and have a play!
ReplyDeletethis assembly of metallic rectangles looks just gorgeous! love all the texture here!
ReplyDeleteFabulous artwork!
ReplyDeleteWho could have thought that those little panels of metal you showed the other do would morph into this beautiful canvas, they were great to start with but now - wow!! Love the red ones, too.
ReplyDeletestunning canvas so much detail and I like the 9 panel idea
ReplyDeleteMaggie
*clap! clap! clap!*
ReplyDeleteThis is SUPERB!
It looks stunning Ann, love the embellies and the flower is gorgeous ;-)
ReplyDeleteI felt mine needed a bit of something between the metal pieces so scribbled some lines about but I ended up not liking it so about 1am this morning I was prising the pieces off :-/ and as I didn't have any of the copper colour I'd used I had to mix several colours to get something similar. By now you could barely see the stamping so I did some stamping and then today put the metal pieces back on. Have been working on a canvas for the Sunday Stampers so haven't put a hangy thing on my other one yet. Hopefully I'll be able to post both canvasses tomorrow.
Thanks for a great day
Anne xx
Thanks for your comment on my blog: I was certainly happy to find yours. I love these canvases and have recently started using TSS metals and tools so I dived in for all the close-up shots! Great work.
ReplyDeleteThey look fantastic! It's great that they have been mounted into a work of art and not just left. Love both colours, it just shows what can be achieved. x
