Because of the weather and being snowed in I've decided to play along with T!m's 12 tags of Christmas, didn't have time to post yesterday's so posting day 1 and 2 together.
Day 1
As I didn't have anything to make the tree with or the holly wreath, just left them out. I didn't have his house either, but used one of Crafty Individual chipboard houses instead.
Day 2
Again, didn't have all his stamps so used a mixture of T!m's, Crafty Individuals and Paperartsy ones.
I've enjoyed making the tags, but day 1 took ages so if the rest are going to take as long as that, might not do them all, will have to see.
This is the sight that I met when I went to pull the curtains in the bedroom on 30 November. I think it's brilliant, but my other neighbours hate it and think it 'lowers the tone' of our lane. It makes me smile and my grandchildren love it.
Love both your tags - I was glad today's was easier/quicker too!! I think anything that cheers up the gloom has to be good! it's not as over the top as some I've seen.
ReplyDeleteooo they are both lovely :D
ReplyDeleteWell done :D

Tags are great, well improvised as I've had a look at Tim's and yours may not be the same, but as individual as you. Yea some people really go to town on decorations, but I think it looks great, we need something to cheer us up during this awful weather xoxox Ann
ReplyDeleteLOVE THE TAGS and you mean there are some stamps you havent got i am shocked as you probably were when you opened the curtains lol x sue x
ReplyDeletelLwers the tone ROFL!! I think it looks great but I wouldn't want that electric bill!

Love the tag and the lights! We saw one in our neighbourhood last night just like it and we took a detour despite the freezing temperatures and driving snow to have a closer look!

WOW both are Fab, i kinda like your house, got real rustic charm :D
ReplyDeletegreat tags, I was shocked to hear that you have some Tim stamps missing from your collection! Love the lights, they make me smile too, not that I would have them, LOL, K x
ReplyDeleteFabulous versions of the tags, I am soooo with you on the first one - lets hope he goes easy on us for a few days lol, cant wait to see your next one - I have yet to do todays lol xxx
ReplyDeleteYeah - I can't believe you haven't got all the stamps....or is it that its hidden among your warehouse full of stash? Your work room is like a tardis! hehehe! You still made a fantastic job of it Ann, with great improvisation. I really like day two tag also - I haven't been to look at his blog yet! I'm doing Dyan's challenge - 15 minute time limit (although I haven't stuck to that yet) but I think Tim's would take me too long and I would get sulky about not having the stuff I need!
ReplyDeleteRe the 'light' house, I suspect there will be less Las Vegas style homes this year with the economic climate! x x x
Great take on Tim's tags, love all your embellishments and the colours are fabulous. Love the house decorated in your lane too, they are definitely getting into the spirit of things. Tracy Evans x x
ReplyDeleteYour tags are wonderful. That house looks terrific!
ReplyDeleteLove your tags and the improvising (you've used the same CI house as me too!). All the textures and colours look fabulous.

ReplyDeleteYour tags are both gorgeous - love your improvisations! Very inspiring. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat Tags, great improvisation but I am shocked like the others to know you haven't got all of Tim's stamps are you sure about that and they are not hidden away in that well stocked craft room of yours.
ReplyDeleteBy the way hate the neighbour's lights, sorry to be a spoil sport.
Pat xx
I'm with you on the first tag.....toooooo complicated when you don't have the supplies ;)
ReplyDeleteIt's nice that it did not put you off and you made day 2 as well :)

xoxo Sioux
I love both of your tags I didn't think to improvise yesterday but it looked way too complicated anyway. I love your view over the road (but wouldn't want it myself lol x)
ReplyDeleteAnn, you are good I looked at day one and didnt really have any of the stuff so didnt bother, today looked and thought I can do that, just got to find the cut n felt, well didnt find that but moved entire craft room around, am now creamy crackered :)
ReplyDeleteYou have made a great kob of the tags. I have been without the internet for a couple of days so am playing catch - up now. Might have a go at them tomorrow, but they do look a bit time consuming! x

ReplyDeleteGreat take on Tim's tags! I think were all doing some improvising but thats what makes it so much fun. Its a good thing I don't live in your neighborhood, if your neighbors think this is over the top, they should see ours! I Love it!
